I am a sucker for quirky interiors and a great vibe, add a fantastic cocktail menu to that equation and you have my new favourite new hangout – Simmons Bar in Fitzrovia. Simmons Bar, Fitzrovia

The Simmons Bar in Fitzrovia on a Friday night is like being at a cool friends house party, the music is on point, the staff is so friendly the only thing missing is a bigger snacks menu although the salty dog crisps they do have are the best!

The cocktail menu is fantastic and witty for example one of my favourite cocktails reads like this – SEX WITH A LAD – £7.50. Simple yet rather effective, a bit like this joke: What’s brown and sticky? A stick. Ha. Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice, shaken and served long, like a LAD.

Cocktails can be served in teapots and eclectic little tea cups which serve 4 and cost £20, £15 if you go during happy hour(4pm-9pm)!

There is also a bar downstairs with alcoves  and heated seating outside so whatever your mood from 4pm till 1am the Simmons is open for business.

I highly recommend heading down to the Simmons in Fiztrovia, they also have Simmons bars in Camden, Kings Cross and Chelsea so lots of places to get your drink on!
