Ashish A/W13 London Fashion Week

The one show I look forward to every season is Ashish.

I get that he may not be everyones cup of tea but he is definitely my cup of chai tea no sugar extra cinnamon to be precise.

Ashish Gupta just can’t do wrong in my eyes, his aesthetic is the complete opposite to my own but I find it incredibly enchanting.

This season he was inspired by workwear of course he mixed it up with houndstooth prints, tweed and his usual smattering of the shiny stuff.

I was expecting more colour from Ashish, the catwalks have been loud with colour and the one designer I expected to bring it, didn’t he however brought something completely different and unexpected.

Ofcourse I like the looks but the reason I like Ashish so much is because I see some of the pieces as statement pieces ones I’d slip into an otherwise dull outfit.

I need the ‘I’m having a sh&t da thanks’ tshirt, adore the grey  trench coat and will be demanding the holographic midi dress!

The only thing I wasn’t so inlove with was the make up – some of the models looked all kinds of positively dead without it.

‘They are traffic cone pants’ the boy remarked as I was editing my photos ^
