Huawei P6 Ascend Review

A few weeks ago I headed over to the W Hotel for afternoon tea and to talk all this Huawei P6 Ascend (pronounced Wah-Way).

I’ve been using my Huawei since I got it and I’m fairly impressed.

I love that the phone had a built in pin in the headphone jack so you can pop out your sim card this just makes life easier when the phone dies although the battery has lasted me pretty well and I only charge it at night when I’m usually scrambling for a charger by 6pm with my other handset.

Its Android which is great because I easily downloaded all my usual apps- WordPress, Plume, Twitter, Instagram, Tube Map, Snapseed etc.

It has an 8 megapixel camera but the front facing camera is 5 megapixels (this means its good) you can also play around with the beauty effect which smoothes out your face and makes for a better selfie.

The Huawei P6 ascend is pretty easy to personalise- I can even choose the transitions between pages, put my Mom on my homescreen so is just that much easier to call her (read bother her).

It is easy to use even my Dad had no trouble navigating it (no mean feat the man maybe be a genius but phones tend to well confuse him)!

Also it very affordable for a smartphone it only costs £300 which sounds like a lot but if you see how much the other smartphones out there cost you’ll realise its well very affordble.

I  had been using my iPhone4 and Samsung Galaxy S4 but I think the Huaweii is a great handset and its replaced my iPhone4.

*I was gifted the Huaweii P6 Ascend by Huawei but as always my opinion is honest and not influenced by this!
