How to wear a double slit maxi

I’ve been searching for the perfect double slit maxi for what seems like forever now and I just decided to just make one with some jersey poly blend material I found. I wish I’d done a diy step by step guide for you all but I’m sure you can figure it out or simplify your life and just buy one!
After my slit maxi dress post  I got an email asking how to wear a double slit maxi dress ok so I don’t have a dress but here is how I style a skirt instead- I decided to pair it with a crop top, my trusty diesel jacket that I stole from mommabear and haven’t ever given back and new ASOS sandals – I hate getting my toes out so these were perfect for me.
Anyway I’m pretty happy with how my skirt came out, the slit seems higher as I’d pulled it up as I was wearing a crop tops – I can’t stand seeing belly buttons lol.
