Dishoom Covent Garden Review

This review is all about my new favourite place to eat in Covent Garden – Dishoom in Covent Garden.Dishoom Covent Garden Review
‘Indian’ food was my favourite food until a year ago when I had a pretty bad experience. I was craving it again and I decided to head down to a Dishoom with Tshili (said like Chilli)  to see if it would make a difference and it did.
Tshilli and I got talking to a fellow patron a regular Dishoom  customer what he though of the food and he said its the most authentic Bombay inspired food he’d ever had… I assumed the gentlemen was simply exaggerating but and when out food arrived I had to agree with him.
I love food that is full of flavour, easy on the eyes and did I mention full of flavour? Luckily for me Dishoom was just that.
The staff were attentive, friendly and knew the menu (it really doesn’t bode well when you go somewhere and the waiter doesn’t seem to know his roti from his naan).
It is hard to pick favourite dishes as the food was all good but you must have the Bowl of Greens (spinach and brocolli have never tasted soo good), the Gunpowder Potatoes with the raita and the Pineapple and Black Pepper crumble with both the cinnamon ice cream and custard! Tshilli recommends the Chef’s Special a  steamed seabass wrapped in banana leaf and served with slaw and coconut chas.
My BollyBellini was yummy but the Naughty Chocolate Chai was even better.
