Kirandeep Bassans collection showed a mix of diverse colours and prints that worked very well together.
I really liked her use of colour and also how she had her models dressed. Her vibrant collection clearly impressed the judges as she won The Zandra Rhodes Textiles Award.
When I spoke to her after her win she was pretty excited and heaped praise on Northampton University her exact words were “I have really enjoyed my time at Northampton, I have learnt so much and have been able to develop my skills in print with the amazing facilities“.
