Review| Franco Manca

Looking for somewhere to dine were you don’t
have to see a single turkey or roast potato? Well keep reading.

I recently visited Franco Manca in Northcote Road and having
heard how good it was I was expecting a delicious dining experience and that is exactly what I got.
The menu is very simple. You can have pizza or more pizza perfect for me really as I’ve been known to take forever to decide on a meal.
It’s simply decorated with all the emphasis on the food and food quality.
The atmosphere is chilled, friendly and very welcoming.
Make sure to arrive early as there tends to be a queue.Ahmos the manager said ‘ At Franco Manca we always think green’
a statement that rings true as all ingredients are organic or sustainably produced.Price range  – All pizzas are between £4.50 – £6.95
My garlic bread starter was incredibly delicious its also made from Sourdough.
Open plan kitchen.
I chose the Vegeterian special for my main and it did not disappoint.
The peppers were cooked just right I dislike when the vegetables are overcooked.
Sourdough pizza is like no pizza you’ve ever tasted before it has a slight tang.
For dessert I had a lemon cake with natural yoghurt, olive oil and rosemary… I heard olive oil and was instantly questioning what kind of dessert this was going to be but after some persuasion from Ahmos I tried it… them promptly finished it all. It was heavenly!
To drink I had the organic Orange Lemonade that is made on the premises.
