Trench Coat and Gucci Tote

I’ve never been a fan of monogrammed or branded goods but for this lovely I had to make an exception.
My mommers bought this for me for my 16th birthday and its only recently I’ve started wearing it out (I kept it in the bag and dustbag for fear or ruining it lol). And also the amount of fakes carried around by chavs around town cheapens labels and thats one of the reason why I can’t buy a LV Speedy 60 I’d hate for anyone to think its a fake after spending 400 odd pounds on it.

Whats your take on branded/monogrammed goods?
Would it bother you for someone to think your real was a fake?

ALSO Dear God can someone please make a pair of jeans that are tight on top and bottom for my figure (UK ten on hips eight on legs)? Thanks!

Bag – Gucci
Tshirt- Topshop
Jeans – Diesel
Heels – Newlook
Scarf – Hennes & Muaritz
Ring – Budapest

You look fab! I really love your scarf. And that’s so annoying about not finding jeans that fit you properly!

As for real vs fake: I just wear whatever I want, and I don’t care if people think it’s fake. If I like it, that’s all that matters to me!

I’m not in to label accessories so I don’t wear anything that could be mistaken for fake… other than my watches.
I have very expensive watches, vintage and priceless and I have them because I am in awe of the craftsmanship. Only one person has ever asked me if they’re fake… someone who didn’t know me well. As I said I am not in to labels so why would I bother getting a fake variation??

A classic look you’ve got going on here.

awww I feel your pain with the whole fakes-dilemma woth designer brands. It makes the buying the brand thing that less desirable.

Love the outfit btw…and i know how you feel. I have HUGE thighs but a really slim waist, so jeans are always oddly proportioned on me. I tend to play it safe and wear jeggings or topshop treggings….that fits to shape

Thanks for stopping by & commenting Xisses

I have the exact same opinion about branded goods.I’d hate it that it would look like a fake one with all those fakes out there, even if I knew that it wasn’t one.But got to say yours is very pretty honey, love its tote shape!

I have to say usually I am not a fan of monogramed goods, either. But I really like the subtlety in your one! You are really lucky to have such a wonderful mother to buy you this 🙂

    I think it looks great.

Totally know what you mean about badly sized jeans! Topshop was the only place that I could get skinny at the bottom and top!

I love your Gucci bag! I agree, chav’s and their fakes really take the piss! But There no way yours looks fave, especially to the trained eye!

    Beautiful outfit!

I feel the same way about my logo bags. I have real ones that I found at great prices or got as gifts and I get mad when they think they are fake. I actually invested in a past season Michael Kors bag and can’t wait to take photos of it 🙂 I am officially following you now!

I usually HATE monogram bags but your bag is a winner!! I feel like Gucci monograms are the exception. I totally agree with you about LV. I love the speedy but with all these fakes, I cant make the investment.

Super cute bag! I think LV and Gucci monograms are fine. I don’t like it too much from other brands. You’re right certain bags are bootlegged more than others. I stopped carrying my Speedy for that reason.

I’ve never been a fan of bags that were just monogrammed and really simple but you really know how to make it work! I don’t think I could pull it off but you sure can! And it is just way *too* hard to find jeans that fit the way you want. I hate that!

    Thank you sweetie!

As long as I know it isn’t fake I don’t care what other people think. The time will tell anyway and then they will be eating their words, mohaha… haha No but It is like that with all the current it bags and in most cases you can tell a distinct difference between a real vs. fake bag. And with time you can REALLY see the difference, that is when the 400 spent will show its worth. x S.

  24. What a great sweet 16 gift! Loving the trench. I have a Calvin Klein one that I have never worn. Kiah

Hey NRC, thanks for popping by stylingmile. I really like your style, it looks effortless and your use of colours, patterns and tailoring stands out. You’ve definitely got an eye for detail.

Monogrammed goods are fine, just don’t look like a walking billboard..lol
    I prefer products monogrammed discreetly.
It make take a while to find a brand of jeans that fit well but when you do, buy everything, they’ve got in your size…lol, that’s what I did.
