Food| Cheese Scones

I’m a feeder, I love feeding the people I love.
Mum says its because I’m trying to fatten them all up so they can’t run away lol.
Anyway to day is such a dreary day and I decided to cheer them all up by making my super simple cheese scones. And there cheap to make too
Sorry for the instagram photo but by the time I got my SLR out most of these badboys had been devoured.

Ingredients
200g self raising flour
A pinch of salt
50g butter
30g mature cheddar cheese, grated
130 ml milk
Preparation method
Heat the oven to 200C
Lightly grease a baking sheet
Mix together the flour and salt and rub in the butter.
Stir in the cheese and then the milk to get adough.
Turn on to a floured work surface and knead very lightly. Pat out to a round 2cm thick. Use a cutter to stamp out rounds and place on the baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the scones with a little milk.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until well risen and golden.

Serve while warm.

Have an awesome weekend lovelies.
