Review| Whittlebury Hall

I recently stayed at Whittlebury Hall a lovely spa in the Midlands.
From the moment we arrived there was a sense of serenity and a very welcoming atmosphere   We checked in at reception,
went to our rooms unpacked and headed over to the Spa and also checked in there, we then received our schedules and were given a tour of the spa.
The spa itself is decorated tastefully with very obvious nods to Grecian decor
– stone pillars, marble, sculptures and the general ambience.
There are so many treatments you can enjoy but I went for  the back massage
(you can never go wrong with a back massage) and Lime and Ginger salt glow .

All the treatmens are Elemis, Jessica or Clarins so you know your in good hands.
Before and after your treatments you can make full use of the Heat and Ice experience.
The Heat and Ice  experience – basically an extremely large room where in the middle there is
hydrotherapy pool with jets forming waterfalls and whirlpool jets.

There are different sections that veer of into very
different rooms : an Aromatherapy Crystal Steam, Bucket Shower
(pretty exhilarating),
Hydrotherapy Pool, Ice Cave (yes  folks thats a cave of ice), Caldarium,
Foot Spas, Roman Salt Steam, Sanarium ,Tepidarium and ofcourse a Traditional Sauna.
I went into all the section but my favourite was the crystal  steam room and the ice cave.

Waiting Lounge – this is where you lounge before your therapist comes to collect you.
Yes they also have a hair salon!
Did I mention they had free Wifi?
Yeah.

The view of the golf course from my room.
There is also a leisure club at Whittlebury Hall which is complimentary to guests, it
features an exercise suite,  a pool, whirlpool spa, sauna and steam room
as well as exercise classes.
And there is a golf course on site.

The 36 hole golf course

For those hard to please you’ll be happy to know that there are three on site
restaurants (AstonsMurrays and Bentleys), a bar and a cafe.
The Silverstone Bar  is a must for fans of Formula One and Mom being the petrolhead
she is was very impressed as there is an amazing collection of motor racing memorabilia
that had her oohing and aahing.

Dinner in Astons
I’d recommend visiting Whittlebury Hall without any hesistation, it was such a fantastic experience.
